I didn’t think my heart would be so grieved ay t

I didn’t think my heart would be so grieved ay the result of the election. I believe in God. I don’t place my trust in whoever is President even if the economy needs fixing. It’s hard because I feel shame for the way I voted. And the last thing I want to do is place the same shame on those who voted another way.

I’m wondering if the reason why God placed another book on my heart about loving others is because this world is so divided—even now—even in the church.

The world needs love. Period. We are more divided than ever. I believe people are not finding love because something is missing. That something is the gospel. The Good News that Jesus saves! Not President Trump. Not Kamala Harris. Jesus.

Whether you are celebrating or lamenting at the moment, I want to provide space for you as a friend and here on my Insta to sit, breathe, and process what it means for you to say love grows here.

When the first church I applied for said no after

“If you’re not afraid of your dreams-your drea

I’ve recently been dreaming in ways that have scared me. It feels good to be in a winter spiritual season again—even if it’s scary. It means my dreams are waiting for the right time. They are NOT dead. They are dormant.

…AND, This time I have an amazing church community and group of women to process with!

Going through my book with them has been surreal! This week we have been reading Chapter 3 the “Winter” chapter when I realized I needed my own words and these women RIGHT NOW!

AHHHH!!!

I want to give special thanks to @dayinthelifeofaneditor of @emboldenmediagroup for pitching @itsanewbeginning book proposal. Even though it didn’t work out, I’m still able to assist Willie Alfonso in self-publishing his next book.

Willie and I met in 2015 when I had the pleasure of ghostwriting his first book, “It’s A New Beginning” (2016). My brother flew out to meet Marc and me for the launch, and we had a great time in Brooklyn.

This next book is special to my heart because it is about overcoming fear. I’m honored to work with @itsanewbeginning again on his third book. Stay tuned for details.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Mon $October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. It’s hard to share my anniversary (the 15th) with “the” day this is honored. Even harder when my miscarriage happened the 14th of 2015. One in four moms experiences a miscarriage and I am one of them. After my rainbow baby girl (a baby born after a miscarriage) was born, God reminded me that I had written a children’s book in 2019 and forgot about it. After resurrecting it, hiring an illustrator, and graphic designer @nellymurariu of @pixbeedesign_books my dreams of publishing a children’s book came true. You can purchase a hardcover, softcover, or ebook for the rainbow babies and loss mom’s out there who need a ray of hope. A reminder that their story is not over yet.
