MEET renee

Hello, I’m Renee, the visionary force behind Renee Fisher & Co.

I’m a lover of people, words, gardens, glitter, Jesus, my husband, and our miracle rainbow baby girl. With a passion for words & photos that linger in the heart long after the book, event, or session ends; I strive to bring a unique blend of creativity, vibrancy, and tenacity to every person & project.

Drawing inspiration from my Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership, Master of Arts in Bible & Theology, and a Certificate in Life Coaching—my love for storytelling radiates to everyone I meet.

I’m an author. I’ve been a published author since 2010, and I have four books currently in print:

  1. Forgiving Others, Forgiving Me
  2. Soul Gardening
  3. I’d Rather Be Playing with You
  4. The Scripture Garden.

I’m a storytelling photographer. I love helping clients document their visual stories. If each picture is worth a thousand words and each photoshoot has 40-60 photos, that’s enough words for a visual book!

I’m located in Davenport, IA, and available to travel.

Seasoned Storyteller

Since 2014, I have visited 87 gardens in 25 states and 2 countries.

It started with a visit to the New York Botanical Garden in 2014, where my eyes were opened to the beauty of nature. It was then I understood, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”

With each garden visit, I found a different kind of paradise to linger in with unfiltered access to God. I had no agenda. I was only there to enjoy and take pictures. I needed to cultivate something for the fun of it before realizing God was there waiting to be found.

I’m wondering if it’s the same for you, too?

God turned my dream of wanting to see New York into a love for gardens that eventually turned into something personal and deeply spiritual.
