Do you ever have days where you feel like all you’re doing is failing at your goals?
For me, that happens after the high of an event like the If:Gathering I attended this weekend at Hill Country Bible Church where I had the privilege of giving away signing copies of Forgiving Others, Forgiving Me. That also happens after I check everything off my list and wait for what’s next.
I appreciated the question Lysa TerKeurst asked us during the live stream. It was a simple question really, but it got me thinking.
“Do we want to write our own story and ask God to bless it?”
If I’m honest, my answer is “YAAS!!!”
I am asked this question a lot as a Dream Coach.
How do I know if my dream is from me or from God?
I struggle with answering this question too. I blogged about my winter season earlier this week. I’m currently in a delicate dance with God and feeling the tension of waiting on Him to birth new life and dreams–and yet I don’t want to sit around and do nothing while I wait.
So what do we do with our dream goals when God has clearly shown us we’re in a winter season or hasn’t yet given us the green light?
Let me introduce you to my friend, Lauren Gaige, of Restored 316.
She recently wrote a very helpful article entitled Why You are Failing At Your Goals that I wanted to share with y’all. (Lauren is the one who designed my beautiful logo and the theme of my website).
